What information is needed for engine preheater selection?

Provide the engine model, engine power and displacement or coolant capacity, lowest ambient temperature, available voltage and phase, preferred connection size, installation space and quantity.

What voltage options are available?

Voltage options depend on the series and model. For example, EHA lists 240 VAC, 120 VAC and 50 VDC options, while EHA/S lists 240 VAC and 120 VAC. Confirm the required supply before selection.

How do I choose heating power?

Heating power must be reviewed with the engine and application information. Public website content does not issue an automatic final power or model decision.

What is the difference between EHA and EHA/S?

EHA uses electronic temperature control with microprocessor control and power/operating indication. EHA/S uses a bimetal thermostat and is the simplified economical version. Both are self-circulating series.

Which Ruikang series are self-circulating?

EHA, EHA/S, EHB and EHC are listed as self-circulating engine coolant preheater series.

Which Ruikang series are forced-circulation?

EHD, EHDC and EHE are listed as forced-circulation engine coolant preheater series.

Is forced circulation always better?

No universal superiority claim is used. Selection depends on the project information and requires human review.

Can an engine coolant heater be used as an oil heater?

A standard coolant or water-jacket heater must not be used directly as an engine-lubricating-oil heater. Use the dedicated Oil Heater product route.

What installation information should I provide?

Provide preferred connection size, available space and clear photographs or drawings of the intended installation area. Final installation details must be reviewed for the selected series.
