>Cold Start Solutions
Connect engine preheating, oil heating, starting-battery support and charging to the real generator application.
The Challenge
Cold-start readiness is not a one-product question. The relevant route can include engine coolant heating, oil heating, starting-battery temperature support, battery charging and generator control.
Engine temperature support
Engine Preheaters are the primary coolant-heating product family in this solution.
Oil-heating route
OHC and OHD are dedicated Oil Heater series. A standard coolant heater must not be used directly as an engine-lubricating-oil heater.
Starting-battery support
BTW battery heating products and Smart Battery Chargers provide separate temperature-support and charging routes.
How the Solution Path Works
1. Identify the medium and application
Confirm whether the requirement is coolant heating, oil heating, battery temperature support or battery charging.
2. Confirm electrical and engine inputs
Provide available voltage and phase, engine power and displacement or coolant capacity, lowest ambient temperature, connection preference and installation space.
3. Choose the product family
Review the applicable self-circulating or forced-circulation preheater paths only after the application inputs are understood.
4. Complete human review
Model Matching is advisory. Final configuration must be confirmed against the engine and installation information.

Cold Start Questions
Is one heater enough to define a cold-start solution?
Not always. The relevant path may include coolant heating, oil heating, battery temperature support, charging and control. The project conditions determine which routes should be reviewed.
Which product should be checked first?
For coolant heating, begin with Engine Preheaters. For lubricating oil or diesel heating, use the dedicated Oil Heater route.
Can Ruikang provide a final model automatically?
No. Model Matching is advisory and final configuration requires human confirmation of the engine, electrical and installation information.
